I have lost the harware to put up bunk beds again?,,,Where can I buy a kit or like hardware to build it from? thanks

So, when my sister and i got beds (when i was 3!) they were bunk beds, but you can take them apart, right? So, im 16 now, and my sister will be moveing out for college this summer. As mean as it sounds, im takeing her bed and turning it into a loft, but i dont know how unsafe it could be. Any instructions online i could use? thanks in advanced!

I have two boys who are asking for bunk beds. I do not want to spend tons of money but I also don't want junk that isn't going to last very long. I have looked at many sites but you cannot tell quality from looking at a picture. If anyone has had any experience ordering online I would appreciate your opinion. Before my sister moved out, her and I shared a room. We had bunk beds. I cannot get rid of the bunk beds because I did not pay for it. I have to keep it in my room. I don't use the top bed, obviously (except to store the mess that is the product of my laziness). Is there anything creative I can do with the top bed since I only need the bottom bed. My boys are 4 and 2. Both are good climbers and I would have the older boy sleep on top. I feel he is old enough, but worry the little one will climb up there even if I say its off limits to him (which I would but it will be kinda hard to police ALL the time). I know someone who lost an eye because she fell out of a bunk (while sleeping) and landed on a plastic garbage can which shattered at age 3. I am nervous about my boys getting hurt, but they are pretty tough and good climbers etc. What age should my boys be for bunk beds?
