How to turn bunk beds into a loft bed?
So, when my sister and i got beds (when i was 3!) they were bunk beds, but you can take them apart, right? So, im 16 now, and my sister will be moveing out for college this summer.

As mean as it sounds, im takeing her bed and turning it into a loft, but i dont know how unsafe it could be. Any instructions online i could use?

thanks in advanced!

Probably pretty unsafe. You need to precisely drill at least a 1 1/4" hole in both the top of each post, and the bottom of each leg, to receive a 6" hardwood dowel that will be used to keep the beds together. This is extremely hard because usually the drilling will go off-center, or not deep enough, or not aligned with the receiving hole... At any rate, you're looking at a very hard time. Go check out Big Lots! I saw bunk beds there, nice ones, for $199. Bonus--the girl on top won't ever kill the one below!
