YES start before its to late!
Ask her if she's ready for a 'big girl bed'. If she seems terrified of the idea, you can look around, but don't buy anything yet.
i have four kids and when my kids were about 18 months they were not interested in a crib anymore, i bought toddler bed at 18 months and put the gaurd rail up just in case. i would suggest 18-24 months.
2 yrs is the recommended age.
about 2 to 2 1/2 years is when I moved my kids into the toddler beds. I made sure that I used the rails just to be sure they didnt fall out. Once I removed the rails I lined the floor near there bed with big pillows so they wouldnt get hurt if they fell.
My son got one at about 18 months. We put it in his room, next to the crib. He started taking naps on it, and eventually switched to the bed on his own...Just in time for us to claim it for his baby sister...
one and a half two years
2 to 2 halve.
about two years old...you want to get them one before the get to connected to their crib.
I always switched my kids when they started climbing (or trying to climb) out of their cribs.
as soon as they are able to walk around you can put them in a toddler bed. That way they can get up on thier own.
yes you shold so he will get us to it
Around age 2.
2ish, but it really depends on the child. Do not rush the process.
i would say 2 1/2 that is when all my kids were ready but that is just me!
2-3 I would say. My daughter got hers at about 2 1/2.
about 2 is the best time if you wait it will be harder and if you do it to soon it would be difficult
When they can climb out of their crib by themselves get a toddler bed for safety reasons. If your daughter sleeps in her crib and does not climb out she might be too young for a toddler bed because then she can get out at anytime.
My son was 1. He didn't like the baby bed and tried to climb out of it. Each child is different. I also suggest you get bedding they like such as elmo or a color that way it's "their" bed....
If she's climbs out of her crib then it's definitely time for a toddler bed! Also, ask if she's ready for a big girl bed, my daughter's face lit up when I asked her!
It depends. Is she trying to climb out of her crib? For safety reasons it might me a good idea to start looking for one. Otherwise I wouldn't until you have to. My daughter was about 2 1/2 when I got hers & it was a waste of money. She slept in it for about 3 months & it was just to small. I ended up getting her a regular twin bed & put one side against the wall & pillows on the floor in case she fell out. She fell out once & then got used to it. She slept much better in a regular bed.
if she can climb out of her crib it is time for a toddler bed, i have 3 kids and they do grow out of the toddler bed pretty fast, a single bed with side rails will be safer to fall out of than flipping over the rail of the crib, if she can climb out get her another bed!
when they start putting their leg over the crib cage and can pull themselves out of the crib, thats when you should get a toddler bed, but i would skip the toddler bed and go right to a youth bed, because whats the sence in wasteing money on a toddler bed, when their only gonna use it for a yr or 2, and the youth bed can last til they are out of your house and have their own place!
I would assume that your daughter is ready for a toddler bed because the bed comes with a guard rail so as not to fall to the floor. but bear in mind that children should always have to watched for their every move.
i bought my daughter one and she's 21 months now just make sure the rails are sturdy and that they are on both sides i got her a dora one (i let her pick it out)
I waited till 2. My kids always slept in their own beds and I wanted them 2 before I switched, just so they could understand bedtime better.
if she sleeps through the night. then she is ready for a toddler bed.
When she starts jumping out of the crib... I moved my son when he was 1 1/2 years old. We put him in a twin bed (bottom bunk - big brother was on the top bunk). We used a rail that kept him from falling out and he finally slept through the night because he wasn't bonking his head on the rails and had room to move in his bed.
No age is correct. If your child can and does climb out of the crib they are ready for a toddler bed.
my son is gonna be two in aug we have one for him he dont sleep in it yet but anytime were gonna put it up i still like being able to put him in the crib and he stays there!!
My first was in one at 18 months, my second at 14 months. Just depends on the child, what you want them to sleep in, and what is safer for them at that stage. My first was too tall at 18 months, I was afraid of him falling out of the crib. My second is a climber, so I took him out as soon as possible to avoid him getting hurt. Also, you have to consider when you plan on potty training. I have my kids out of diapers by 2 1/2, so that is a consideration, too. There are some REALLY cute ones on Amazon. Please look through this site for Amazon, my friend gets a small commission if you buy through this link! I know she'd appreciate it. When she was looking for her son, they had some for as low as $35, and it's free shipping.

I got my daughter a toddler bed at 14 months because she could expertly climb out and she'd run all over the house at two in the morning. But with her 'big girl' bed she stayed in it all night.I don't think there is one set age I think it's whatever you and your daughter will feel comfortable with.
I think that two is about the right age, but it depends on the child, is he/she ready or no? It's your desition. Well I hope I'm of any help to you.

My oldest moved to the toddler bed at 17 months. He had figured out exactly how to wiggle the crib to get the side to drop. My other 2 moved out of the crib around their second birthday.
Usually when they start climbing out of the crib it is time to get a toddler bed. You wouldn't want her to get hurt trying to get out.
There is no harm in buying one now even if she doesn't need it yet because she will be needing it soon.

When they learn how to climb out of their baby cribs. I bought my son a toddler bed before he turned two b/c he was climbing out of his crib at night and I was afraid he was going to fall and hurt himself.
