What ceiling height do you need to have bunk beds?
I need to purchase bunk beds for my kid's room. I don't want the kid on top to hit their head!
How high do my ceilings need to be to accommodate the bed, and the person sitting up in the bed?
Thanks!

Most bunk beds fit comfortably in a room with 8' ceilings, so long as the kids don't jump up and down on the top bunk. Hope this helps.
` Leave at least two feet of space between the bunk bed and the ceiling to prevent bumps. While bunk bed heights vary, the average bunk is usually between 5 ½ to 6 feet tall. An 8 foot ceiling would be the best height.
