Are daybeds comfortable to sleep on, or do you have to sleep in awkward positions?
I am going to have a very small apartment bedroom where I need to squash in a desk, bed, dresser...you know...all the stuff. I am thinking a daybed is probably my best option but they look so uncomfortable! Anyone have any opinions on them?

It all depends on the type of mattress you purchase.
It's basically just a twin bed with railing on one side. The are a little harder to make up than a twin bed b/c you can't let any sheets hang down on one side. Why don't you just find a neat little twin bed? Put a couple of those plastic storage containers with drawers underneath for extra storage space.
