Are daybeds good for teens or is a twin bed for efficient?
I'm moving to a new place and my new room is about 3 feet smaller than my old one.
So it turns out to be 9" 1/2 length, 9" wide, floor wise.
And I'm 5' 2 so I'm not sure what bed to get.
And I'm planning to have a few more things in my room that make it seem more crowded.
I have a twin bed now but a daybed might be too small for me even though it gives my room more space.

a daybed essentially is a twin bed put adjacent to the wall making it the same size. So if you fit on a twin bed now you should have no problem with a daybed and in return you will get more floor space for more furniture (making the daybed more efficient )
i have a daybed and im 14 i've been having mine since 8 and still can't fit it and im 5'6! lol they are very durable actually and i love the look you just have to look around mine is really big and its ceramic but it gives my room space! i love it =)
you should try it out!
I think you should stay with your twin bed.
Day beds are great, but its really uncomfortable to be sleeping in a bed that doesn't fit you.

There are so many ways to make your room feel more spacious, so don't worry about a couple inches.

The main ideas about making it look more spacious is adding mirrors and keeping the colors light.

If you are to use this idea, here is a website that might help you out on the space issue:

Good luck, I hope I helped. :)
