Ikea has something like that. It's a loft bed unit with a workspace underneath. You could easily fir a couch into it.

I bought this for my son and we both love it! And their delivery fee (if you don't have one near you) is pretty decent... so is the price! I often suggest this to people when staging small rooms in a house to sell... and they often end up selling the bed with the house.... and then buying one for their new home!
