What is the name of the metal bracket used to support slatted beds with a length of timber ?
It's attached to the bed frame .Where can I purchase one / two ?

It's called a Bed Stead....dunno where to get it's antique
Are you talking about the long metal supports that run the length of the bed, and attach the foot board to the headboard on either side of the bed? If so, they're called metal side rails. Or, are you talking about the supports that run the width of the bed, connecting to the side rails? If so, those are called bed frame center supports.
