Where can I find some good platform beds?
Wood, preferrably with some slats or cut-outs in the headboard, and dark wood (espresso finish). Oh yea, most importantly, under $450! Any place you know of that I can search would help.

Check out www.EQ3.com for the B2C bed.

You have a choice of colors: espresso or maple, it comes in all sizes, and with movable headboards with slits in them! The slats are what the mattress rests on and two types are available.
Check your local Walmart. Believe it or not they carry three reaally nice styles two with slats in the headboard. All come in espresso finish. There is a set with the bed and two night stands that runs $199 for queen here but Walmart prices can vary from store to store. I am including the link of the company Walmart gets them from. But the pkg deals are better at Walmart.
