Can you get just a rear panel for a ranger or do you have to get the whole bed?
I have a 1991 ford ranger the left rear panel needs replaced can I get just a panel or do you have to replace the whole bed?
Also do you have to use the same year or will a newer model work as well?

the panel can be changed but it might be cheaper to get a whole used bed. a newer model will work if the body style was the same, scrap yards have books that tell them what parts can be swapped on different year cars.
You can get a salvage yard to cut one out for you, they will cut any piece out .lIf your planning on doing the work yourself your going to need a chop saw in order to cut the metal piecesor get it done at a body shop.
J.C. Whitney has replacement panels for your Ranger so you don't have to replace the whole bed.
82 to 91 bed will work it would probally be cheaper in the long run just to get the whole bed you can get just a side but by the time you pay to have someone put it on you would be better off buying the whole bed used
