How would I repaint a bed panel if its Solid pine, Clear acrylic lacquer?
I purchased a bed for my daughter who loved the bed and the only problem is it's blue I want to paint it pink panels and white to match her room. How do I do this. Please give me some advice i am going to hope depot this afternoon but sometimes they don't now whats going on.

First, be absolutely certain that the piece is Real Wood, and not fiber board with a veneer finish.
All wood surfaces will need to be stripped by using chemicals that are specifically for doing the job.
(You cannot strip veneer over fiberboard or composite wood.)

You would be wise to start painting with a primer coat, then paint the surfaces with the paint & color you desire.
Sand the entire surface to rough it up. Prime, and paint with any gloss, or semi gloss paint you want. Spray or brush, your choice.
