How do you fix your bed spread with a sleigh bed?
I never know what to do with my bed spread at the foot of my bed. Since it is a sleigh bed, it doesn't just hang there looking pretty, but it hangs there looking awkward and sticking out. I can't do anything with it that looks right. Any suggestions? Thanks!!
So, if I have a regular bedspread that isn't specially made for a sleigh bed, I need to have it fixed so that it'll look right? : )

I don't own a sleigh bed but I do have a footboard on mine. The bedspread that I bought has little cutouts at the corners. It looks like it was a rectangle and it was split about 12" up and hemmed. Because of this it hangs nicely and the piece beween the slits fits down between the mattress and footboard. If you are handy with a sewing machine maybe you could do it yourself.
They make specialty bed spreads for those types of beads. you can usually pick one up at jc pennies or at the mall. U could also make one your self. they have all kinds of patterns at the fabric stores
Have you tried tucking the sides and the end under the mattress. maybe that would work until you found a bedspread you like that is made for beds with footboards.
First tuck under the bottom, then hospital corners on the sides, then tuck in the sides. The whole idea of this style bed is to show off the wood.
