Do they make bed skirts for sleigh beds?
3 Answers
Not specifically that I have seen. You would get a skirt and tuck it down the sides of the side rails and the foot boards. You can also get a second fitted sheet if just a small portion of your box spring is showing past the frame of the bed.
We have a sleigh bed with tempurpaedic mattress, king size. You can't move that mattress with two people, so we cut the bed skirt down the middle (sew the salvages on my sewing machine) and tucked the material into the sides and bottom of the bed. You can't tell that it is divided and get the same effect. If you want to wash it you just pull it out. I did search for a bedskirt before opting for that solution. I really didn't want to cut it, but the results are beautiful! Good luck!
No. Traditionally, sleigh beds are meant to not have any additional ornamentation, other than the side rails.
